As I said in one of my recent posts, I love to wear bright lip colors in the summer time, but I've been doing my eye makeup a bit dark so I opt for a nude lip, specifically a browny/peachy nude color (this month I'm totally obsessed with this kind of color) and I variate between three bullet lipsticks. You'll see on swatches they look very very similar, but I promise you that on my lips they are completely different. Enough with the rambling let's show you which nude lipsticks I've been loving!
Como eu já tinha dito numa publicação recente, eu adoro utilizar batons de cores vibrantes no verão, mas eu tenho feito a minha maquilhagem de olhos um pouco mais escura que o habitual e por isso tenho optado por um batom nude, mais especificamente um nude acastanhado e a puxar para o pêssego (este mês tenho andado completamente obcecada com este tipo de cor) e tenho variado entre três batons em bastão. Vais ver nos swatches que eles parecem idênticos, mas eu prometo que nos meus lábios ficam bem diferentes. Deixando a conversa de lado, vamos lá mostrar-te quais são os batons nude que eu tenho andado a adorar!
MAC Lipstick in Honeylove
Honeylove has a matte finish and is a light brown with a bit of peach in it. I cannot wear this lipstick alone on my lips because it looks terrible, it's not the best shade for me, but I've been using it in conjunction with more darker matte liquid lipsticks. I apply the liquid lipstick first and then I put Honeylove on top to make it a nude color, and it works great and I've been loving to wear this lipstick like that this month! I thought as it was too light for me it would be sitting on my vanity with no use but thank god I found a way to use it!
Honeylove tem um acabamento matte e é um castanho claro com um bocadinho de pêssego à mistura. Eu não consigo utilizar este batom sozinho nos meus lábios porque fica horrível, não é a melhor cor para mim, mas tenho andado a utilizá-lo em conjunto com batons líquidos matte mais escuros. Eu aplico o batom líquido primeiro e depois aplico o Honeylove por cima para fazer com que a cor fique mais nude, e tem funcionado muito bem e tenho adorado utilizar este batom assim este mês! Sempre pensei que como este batom era muito claro para mim eu iria deixá-lo de canto mas afinal achei uma solução para o poder utilizar!
Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Color in Bare It All
Bare It All has a matte finish and is a darker brown it a bit of peach in it. A little curiosity if you want to know, this was the first nude lipstick that I bought! Cool, isn't it? And I still love it after all those years! This one is very similar to Honeylove but it isn't as light and doesn't have that white base, so I can use it alone because it looks more flattering on my skin tone. I've been reaching for this one and Honeylove (mixed with a darker color) when I do a dark warm eye makeup, I think both combine very good with warm eyeshadows!
Bare It All tem um acabamento matte e é um castanho mais escuro com um bocadinho de pêssego à mistura. Uma pequena curiosidade se quiseres saber, este foi primeiro batom nude que eu comprei! Fixe, não é? Ainda o adoro após tantos anos! Este é bastante semelhante ao Honeylove mas não é tão claro e não tem aquela base branca, por isso eu consigo utilizá-lo sozinho porque sobressai muito melhor no meu tom de pele. Tenho utilizado este e o Honeylove (à mistura com uma cor mais escura) quando faço uma maquilhagem de olhos mais escura e quente, e acho que ambos combinam muito bem com sombras quentes!
Maybelline Color Sensation Matte Lipstick in 930 Nude Embrace
Nude Embrace has a matte finish and is a light/medium brown. I bought it this month after eyeing it in the store for too long, and I definitely do not regret it! This one is different from the two above as it is just a brown nude, doesn't have any undertones in it, although I find it a little bit cool toned, but it can be just me. I like to use Nude Embrace when I'm going for a cool toned eye makeup, it looks gorgeous!
Nude Embrace tem um acabamento matte e é um castanho claro/médio. Comprei-o este mês depois de andar tanto tempo com ele debaixo de olho, e obviamente não me arrependo nada! Este é diferente dos outros dois acima porque é apenas um castanho nude, não tem nenhum subtom, embora ache que ele tenha um pouco de subtom mais frio, mas isso pode ser só eu. Eu gosto de utilizar o Nude Embrace quando faço uma maquilhagem de olhos mais fria, combina lindamente!
